Aluminum does not rust, is about a third the weight of steel and forms easily, which suits roofing, gutters, facades and transportation. Coated steel offers higher stiffness and strength per unit thickness at typically lower material cost, which suits uses where rigidity and cost lead. We supply both, so we can quote either.

Coated coil is metal that is painted on a continuous coil-coating line before it is formed into parts. Prepainted aluminum coil for gutters, fascia, roofing and trim is commonly called trim coil in North America. It is the same product.
